"Travel before it's not fun anymore"
​

Student Flights is a travel company based in South Africa focusing on international student and youth travel, with discounted flight rates and package deals. The kind of people we're talking to are young, adventurous and fun seeking individuals wanting to tick off things on their bucket list by travelling the world and experiencing everything it has to offer. TBWA South Africa wanted to demonstrate why our market should travel now by creating a campaign that focused on the elderly with a core message of, "Travel before it's not fun anymore"...

"Wellies" 2017

Women are born with an innate ability to be prepared
for whatever may happen. We carry everything we could need with us, in our bags, or cars, or jackets. We think
about leaving 15 minutes early in case there’s traffic.
And we give each other give each other tips on how
to be prepared, or fix any problem. That’s why when
you insure with 1st for Women, they cover all these
things and more. The retail campaign for 1st for Women
will bring this world to life – to show that women
are always ready. Just in case.

To encourage and increase campaign interaction, consumers are also able to upload their own 'Pa-Rum-Pum-Pum-Pum' video clips to the Pick n Pay campaign page. A selection of video entries received will then be used collectively to form part of the chorus of the upcoming Ladysmith Black Mambazo music video, which will be released on Monday, 5 December.

In addition, every time the music video is watched on the campaign page, Pick n Pay will donate loaves of bread through FoodForwardSA. The more the video is watched, the more loaves of bread consumers can donate.

2020 - 2021 Nando's Tacticals and Community Management
Nando’s has spent 33 years building its reputation as being a brand that is in tune with fellow South Africans. Social Media has given us the opportunity to khuluma nabantu, rather than simply broadcast our own agenda. We speak with the nation. 2020 is no different and we’ve put our ears and eyes even closer to the ground to get a sense of what people were thinking and feeling. Let’s face it, there’s no shortage of things to talk about in SA, especially of late, over the pandemic period. Whilst our restaurants were closed, our voice was certainly not. So we set out to uplift the spirits of South Africans and to continue growing the equity we’ve created.
